This mission also doubles as me trying to see how far is the Hydralisk's attack range and why the heck are Photon Cannons capable of firing that far on elevated ground.

Anyways, welcome to the second mission for the Zerg campaign!

[MISSION II: EGGRESSION]
- Bring the chrysalis to the beacon

The objective of this mission is simple - bring the Chrysalis at your base to the beacon in the southeast. Seems simple until you find out that the Protoss have set up a blockade.

Start off by building up your economy with Drones and grab the Hunter Killers near your Chrysalis. Build an Extractor and then build at least two Evolution Chambers and a Hydralisk Den. Get upgrades for your units. Upgrade to Lair if you want 2/2 upgrades. This mission also introduces you to two aerial units - the Mutalisk, a speedy attack flier and the Scourge, a suicide bomb on wings that targets enemy air units. Make sure to have sunken and spore colonies to your left and right since random enemy units can wander inside your base.

To attack the Protoss blockade, you can attack with a mix of Zerglings and Hydras with the Hunter Killers, but I prefer a full force of Hunter Killers and Hydralisks since they're ranged and fast when upgraded and some Mutalisks. The blockade is just outside of your base, around in the center section of the map. There's no need to destroy the Protoss base in the southwest since attacks happen rarely.

There are more Protoss units along the way to the southeast beacon, kill them. Once the coast is clear - take a drone, use it to grab the chrysalis in your base then send it all the way to the southeast beacon to finish the mission successfully.

NOTE: Be aware that if the drone carrying the Chrysalis dies, you will get a timer to retrieve the chrysalis and if that timer runs out - the mission ends in a failure.
