Yes, it really took 10 minuets to spin-down from a 1 minuet alert. Also, it did a weird hiccup when it shutoff.
This was the first time I have captured a MiniDV camcorder video via digital Fire Wire. Must say it is definitely an improvement from the analog video signal. Much more detailed, and the audio is much crisp & clear.
This was recorded during the Lenawea County SWA drill. I put this camera at 1 of 3 STH-10s in Clinton, while I was at the GCS.
