Straightforward but easier than the previous mission despite of the larger enemy density and number of enemy bases.

[MISSION VII: THE CULLING]
- Eradicate every last remnant of Garm Brood

A very straightforward mission, you start off south of a small Garm Brood base with 8 hydralisks, four mutalisks, four drones and four overlords. Send the hydralisks and mutalisks to destroy this small base then build a Hatchery on it. Build up your economy by getting more drones to work on the mineral fields and an extractor to get vespene gas production started.

To the west of your position is a second small Garm Brood base, you can take it out to lessen pressure on the base and to get an expansion early. You need to surgically destroy the sunken colonies with mutalisks and kill the hydralisks that respond, just leave the one next to a spore colony for last. Send in your own hydralisks and sneak them in, destroy the other structures of that base including the spore colony, once that colony is gone. Send the mutalisks to destroy the last sunken colony. Send in a drone to make a Hatchery there, once it's done - you get some drones working on the mineral field and get an extractor up for vespene gas.

Continue to build your way up to the Zerg tech tree up to the Hive. Upgrade your units. I went with an all-out air assault with Guardians and Mutalisks when attacking the northeast base and the main base itself. Take note to also destroy the colonies guarding a vespene gas to the northwest before proceeding to destroy the Garm Brood's main base.

The mission is won once all of the structures of the Garm Brood are destroyed.
